My graduation thesis was an INFILL project in the San Giovanni neighborhood in Rome. The existing lot, bordered by Viale Castrense, Via Nola, Via La Spezia and Via San Severo, was completed buildings used for services and residences. There is a kindergarten, a media library, a small bed and breakfast and a senior center as well as various commercial spaces. The project consists of four buildings of different heights, some connected by walkways for access to the residences or through the terrace, with walking trails on the ground floors that border and make it accessible from the outside courtyard. The northern side of the project overlooking Viale Castrense in front of the Aurelian walls, hence the choice to regain profile in appearance and in part to opt for reflective surfaces that reflect the image of the walls.
